Steve Redhead’s personal website showcases his long term interdisciplinary work, old and new. This consists of fifteen books and hundreds of essays, chapters in books, articles, reviews, talks, presentations, podcasts and reports.

Steve has held many Professorships and Visiting Professorships in various universities around the globe including in Australia, United Kingdom and Canada.

Steve is Professor of Sports Media and Sub Dean Graduate Studies in the Faculty of Arts at Charles Sturt University, New South Wales, Australia. He is also a member of the Creative Regions Lab in the Faculty of Arts at Charles Sturt University and a member of RIPPLE (Research Institute for Professional Practice, Learning and Education) in the Faculty of Education at Charles Sturt University.

Steve is Associate Editor of CrimeTalk. He is a member of the International Advisory Board of the Teesside Centre for Realist Criminology (TCRC) in the Social Futures Institute in the School of Social Sciences and Law at the University of Teesside, UK.

Steve is Adjunct Professor in the Graduate Studies Programme in the Faculty of Graduate Studies, York University, Toronto, Canada.

Steve is currently working on ’Theoretical times, Nonpostmodern lives’ a project which looks at the ‘post-crash’  ‘post-disciplinary’ cultural condition we find ourselves in and the theorists and theories we need to rely on for rebuilding the global future, and ‘Hey Mister, Can We Have Our Ball Back? on the politics of contemporary football culture.
